為了進一步鞏固「香港中外文化藝術交流中心」的地位，並提升香港文化藝術的發展與交流，繼2025年國際油畫交流大展之後，香港油畫研究會再接勵，策劃第二屆大型的油畫國際性展覽。此次展覽我們榮幸地得到了香港藝術發局的資助，Cypress Seed Gallery協辦及贊助，對此我們深表感謝。
油畫藝術歷史悠久，是全世界最受歡迎的藝術媒介，具有恆久的藝術表現力。我們盛情邀請來自北京的兩位教授、蘇裡科夫美術學院院長、列賓美術學院副院長和夫人及一位教授，還有巴黎兩位著名畫家前來參與本次畫展。同時，香港的五十位油畫家也一同參加這盛會。
在展覽期間，更特別增設了多項豐富的公眾參與活動，包括俄羅斯教授大師班、專為文憑試(DSE)視覺藝術科學生而設的導賞團、結合中西音樂元素的音樂會之夜、香港油畫研究會會員的現場人像寫生示範，以及著名藝術家沈平主講的藝術講座。這一系列活動旨在讓社會各界人士深入體驗油畫藝術的魅力，共同見證香港作為中外文化藝術交流中心的蓬勃生命力。
To further strengthen Hong Kong's role as an international hub for cultural and artistic exchange, and to promote the development of art and culture in the city, the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society builds on the success of the 2025 International Oil Painting Exchange Exhibition and proudly presents it‘s second large-scale international oil painting exhibition. We are honoured to have received funding from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, as well as co-organisation and sponsorship from Cypress Seed Gallery, for which we are deeply grateful.
Oil painting is one of the world's oldest and most celebrated art forms - the most widely embraced artistic medium across the globe, endowed with a timeless expressive power. We have extended our warmest invitation to two professors from Beijing, the President of the Surikov Academy of Fine Arts, the Vice President of the Repin Academy of Fine Arts and his wife, one accompanying professor, as well as two distinguished painters from Paris, to participate in this exhibition. Fifty Hong Kong oil painters will also join this remarkable gathering.
Throughout the exhibition, we are especially pleased to introduce a rich programme of public participation activities, including a Russian professor masterclass, a guided tour for DSE Visual Arts students, a Chinese-Western music concert night, a live portrait demonstration by members of the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society, and an art talk by renowned artist Shen Ping. This series of events is designed to invite people from all walks of life to experience the enduring charm of oil painting, and to bear witness together to Hong Kong's vibrant spirit as a centre for cultural and artistic exchange between East and West.
